The 31st Annual Rustbelt RNA meeting kicks off, co-organized by Joe with Ashleigh Schaffer. Over 330 RNA scientists convened in nearby Huron, Ohio for a trainee focused RNA meeting.

By the numbers: we’re now 2 postdocs, 1 PhD student, 2 master’s students, and 2 undergraduates. A total of 8 grants applied for, 2 awarded. Lab built and main projects up and running. Excited for year 2!
